I have changed and worked with new links for the past week. Each time I am
told something I do it. Then I get told to do something else. Please e-mail me
exactly what is wrong and what rule # I broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the past week I have worked on several pages. Then was unable to put
them up because you change yet another thing.
I might have a big fight ahead and I am prepared. Buyers
agents are starting to get the short end of the stick.
1. We, as buyers agents are starting to see the discount
brokerages that obtain listings of 2% and only offering 100 dollars in
commission to the buyers agent. If this continues we will be phased out
because after all the cuts, we won't be able to pay for our own gas. You will
not have agents interested in driving buyers anywhere. Realtors will simply
have to sell their own listings. There won't be a need for an mls. NO Realtor
in their right mind will work for buyers if this becomes status quo. Anyone can
advertise to sellers 1% and 2% listings and keeping it all for themselves.
Being a buyers agent throughout my career I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
However being a single mother, you have to do what you have to do.
The board is against buyers agents! I feel they
are pushing me to be a discount listing agent. No need to advertise the board
will do it for me!
2.Our MLS board is selling our mls to
outside companies.(an example of free advertising of my discount
listings.) Our board is complying the data that was
entered individually by us realtors and then having the nerve to sell it back to
us in the form of IDX. To any brokers out there: It might be time to
get together and start a grassroots effort for a new association. Compiling
our data on 2 systems instead of just one. Keeping the old but starting a new
system where we compile the data of our listings. We can call it the equal
split MLS. We are not setting commissions but just demand that what ever
commission it is, that it be split evenly between buyers agents and sellers
agents. This will help us keep the integrity of our profession. We live in
America. Having a choice is good! When our board starts to compromise our
livelihood it is time for CHANGE! Please feel
